Frederic Mesnier (FMGuitar)
Frédéric Mesnier is a french guitarist and composer, born in 1961 and living near Paris. He shares his music across the world through numerous videos available on the web, especially on YouTube under the username of FMGuitar. The fast growing number of subscribers to Frédéric's YouTube channel shows the popularity of his compositions for guitar. Self-taught, Frédéric starts the guitar at 14, working with the tablatures of Marcel Dadi, the famous and beloved French picker. After few years of fingerpicking he discovers the classical repertoire and especially masters like Barrios and Tarrega. As a result Frédéric's guitar playing, anchored in a strong classical base, merges styles and influences, which makes him hard to categorise. Above all he wants to be a melody maker. His music always develops evocative themes with a strong melodic and harmonic content. As an example of this - Medieval Song - one of his most famous compositions, will soon reach two millions views on YouTube and has been for several years one of the top rated video worldwide.
